Amazing Facts about Hinduism – A Summer Learning Experience
Offered by Vedic Foundation from July 5 to August 29, 2006
This summer, Vedic Foundation is offering an 8-week learning experience for all youth age 14 to 24 who wish to learn about the basics of Hinduism and the greatness of Indian heritage.  The course will unlock the mysteries and dispel the myths about Hinduism.

The course will enable participants to:
• Understand the common misinformation about Hinduism that is prevalent in school textbooks.
• Learn how to help correct misconceptions about Hinduism and Indian history in the educational system and the media.
• Develop a pride in their Hindu identity.
Authentic Hinduism - Youth Home Study Course

When:   July 5 to August 29, 2006 (8 week course)
Who:   All youth aged 14-24 living in U.S. or Canada
Cost:   NO CHARGE for course

Outline: 
• Course is based on the book, "Amazing Facts About Hinduism".
• 8 weekly reading assignments (approximately 25 pages).
• Weekly quiz of 20 questions emailed to students.
• Quiz returned to Vedic Foundation for scoring.

Graduation Teleconference:   All students will take part in a graduation teleconference  with Vedic Foundation mentors on Wednesday,
 August 30, 2006.
Certificate:   Students who successfully complete all quizzes with  an average score of 75% or higher and participate in  the graduation teleconference will receive
 a Certificate of Completion from Vedic Foundation.
Vacation:   Students on summer vacation have the option to take  tests early or make-up tests after returning from  vacation.
